Hey guys, just alittle update on my oceanic biocube 29.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AQ2vPgsu1s
I know the yellow tang needs to be moved. Times are alittle rough as many know so the 180 was on the back burner this summer.
But I am looking for input. Should i change the rock structure to the "Rockwall" to give me more room for coral. As of now the aquarium has around 50-60 pounds of live rock in it. It is just non stop rock under rock which im guessing doesnt do much for coral placement.
I have had this aquarium for a year and a half now, but it was broken down and dried for the summer during a 1200 mile move for a week so basically it was just restarted about 3-4 months ago. The lighting is all stock and the filtration media has been changed but basically the aquarium is stock. The tank gets dosed daily with purple up and fed ORA GLO everyday.
Stock list:
1 yellow tang( nacho, yes will be moved )
1 black misbar ocellaris ( comppy)
1 female ocellaris ( nina )
1 flame hawkfish ( beepbop)
A couple of hermits, peppermint shrimp, asteria snails. thats the CUC.
The coral list:
yellow polyps,
Star polyps,
palythoas,
kenya trees,
xenia,
button polyps,
mushrooms,
ricordia mushrooms,
candy cane,
3 frogspawns,
2 hammer corals,
1 SPS not sure name,
galaxia coral,
probably a few other things.
There isnt alot of coral but they keep branching off and new colonies so im guessing that is a good sign. The aquarium is really stable just overstocked im sure but everyone is getting along and eatting well.
Just hit me up with some feedback and let me see some of your biocube 29 gallons for some ideas.

Nope, I am away at school to this nano and my other are basically on auto pilot so the corals are growing where ever they want.
I might cut back some soft corals in a few weeks, the xenia has started to spread on the back side of the aquarium and are walking over some button polyps.
Thanks for the link, i will look over the pictures.
