Nice clown! That is indeed a Maroon Clown. I see you have a Percula Clown in the tank as well. Keep an eye on the interaction between these two fish, as clowns are highly intolerant of other clowns. And Maroons tend to be the more aggressive type of clowns.

My bad on the ID above. I've got two percs just like that in my tank, except with a little bit of orange on the chin. They're great fish, and mine were sold as Darwin clowns.
Yours looked just like a Maroon in your first head-on shot.

b/w percs have orange faces still dont they? it looks bigger like a maroon but it has the bend in the middle stipe makes it like a perc. what is it for sure?

ahh nm didnt see the post that told. but why doesnt he have any orange and the only b/w perc are really ocellaris right? and they are all also aquacultured?

I heard that the juviniles have the orangish coloration of their nose and pectoral fins but loose it as they age.

they loose there orangesh black look and become jet black and the nose is suppose to go from lighter orange to a real bright vibrant orange
