My percula went carpet surfing

I have had my two percs for about 7 months, and today I discovered that one of them decided to kill himself...

Can I add another one or do they have to be put in the tank at the same time? If I get one that is smaller than the one I still have will it be okay?

Yes, get a small one from a group and hopefully its not a female and they will get along. Good luck.

I had one clown for over a year before i got it a mate....
Pick a small one, and watch the fish in the tank for a while, pick one that seems really submissive to the others in the tank and hopefully they will get along...Talk to your LFS, when i got the second the manager agreed to take the new one back and refund me within 24hrs if they fought.
