my plan...

I'm getting back into the hoby after about 4 years off. Once upon a time, I knew my way around a tank pretty well... I just wanted to make sure nothing has changed in the last few years.
So here's my plan, obviously this is a long term plan as I know better than to dump all this stuff in the tank this weekend...
12 Aquapod
54w PC lighting
LS (probably go about 2" deep)
LR (probably 12-15lbs)
2 true percs
1 cleaner shrimp
perhaps some type of goby/blenny/jawfish, or a 6line wrasse - I'll see if there is any room left
various hermits and snails
soft corals (a nice selection of mushrooms, zoos, zenia, gsp, etc)
hard corals (perhaps a couple of easier LPS - hammer, bubble, fox, etc)
Fill the tank, let water cycle for 24 hours.
Add sand, let water cycle until sand settles and water is clear
Add LR, let die off from LR cycle the tank
Add percs
Add cleaner shrimp
Add corals
Thoughts? I know 2 percs and a blenny is a lot for a 12g tank, but I've spent the better portion of my life around tanks, I've made all the newbie mistakes (and learned from them). I'll buy the percs very small, so they will grow as the tank matures. I think it would work.

Depends how quickly I can get my hands on the tank. I have 2 LFSs near me, stopped by one last night, they had very little. I'll check out the other today. If no luck there, I'll have to order it, which means it'll likely be a week or so before the thing even has water in it.

And so it begins...
Well, the other LFS had the aquapod, so I bought it, some salt, a bag of LS, and a handful of other supplies. The tank is full and I'm going to let the water cycle through the tank over night, then sand will go in tomorrow.
