I have had this bubble coral for about 6 month and I noticed it slowly receding now that I have been watching it has only gotten worse. Know I don’t know what to do. I have attached a photo the left part of the coral is still alive and a couple pieces on the right side the middle is starting to get holes in it and decaying. What should I do can I save the rest of the coral.

Immediately do a 50% water change. That will hopefully reduce nitrates and phosphates and bring your systems chemicals back in balance (alkalinity, pH, calcium, magnesium)
What kind of lights do you have and when was the last time you changed them? What foods do you feed your tank, what kind of supplements do you dose? What are your tanks parameters, especially alkalinity and pH? What is your aquariums internal flow rate?
Gotta know some more information first before a proper diagnosis.

I agree with Snake that more info is needed about your tank. I would like to add that my bubbles don't seem to like current. I've had two bubbles. First one almost immediately started declining in moderate current, it looked completely dead after a month. Moved it around to low flow area, eventually it came back to life, took several months, but it is really nice again. Second bubble was large and beautiful for about a year in a low flow area, rearranged my aquascape so it has a little more flow and it died within a month. I tried to move it around a couple of times to find a place it liked better and just never bounced back. Sometimes even with perfect perameters, they just need to find their happy place in terms of light and flow. Even if it looks dead, don't give up on it for a bit because it may come back.

I have done water changes and all water parameters are back in check only my nitrates were a little high but know back to normal. As for the lighting I have a 48" T5 fixture with 2 atintic and 2 10,000k bulbs. 54 watts each I haven't change them for about 9 months. I feed a variety of foods Rods Original, myisis, cyplopeds, and some fish eggs. As for a supplements Kent microvert, and I add Kent essential elements. For the flow I have approxemently 2200 GPH using 3 Koralia power heads.

I would have liked to hear more thoughts about this.

Seems like Bubble Corals are always listed for beginners, but I read that a lot of people have problems with them.

I have read low light, moderate light, and strong lighting....very confusing! Guess you can't go wrong somewhere in the middle. It would seem obvious low lighting would be bad.

I just received a beautiful Bubble Coral from Saltwaterfish.com.
Strong lighting is recommended. Just to be safe, I'm starting at the bottom and will slowly it up....in low water flow.
