My porcelyn crab is alive!

Thought he was dead for sure this time as we saw his/her big claws laying in the sand a few weeks ago.
Well before bed last night he/she is not only much bigger but obviously alive

Once it noticed we had seen it, it took off and hid again

And dontcha hate that? I have two tiny ones in my tank. Haven't seen either one for three weeks - and they're so small I figured they got got. Lo and behold, yesterday I saw little filter paddles waving out of a crevice in the rock. Hadda shine a flashlight in there to see him.

It would be soo cool to actually watch them but they are REALLY skittish... once in awhile at night though mine will come up to feed by my acro and you can see him until he notices you -- and flashlight -- well too direct he's gone.
