My Prizm is loud...

So I plug in my Prizm last night - and its pretty loud. Not the impeller type loud I have read others talk about.
Its loud from the water and air coming in and mixing.
You can really hear it when you enter the room, and its less from others.
Can anyone help?

Comes with the territory.....I've never heard a skimmer that was "quiet"

I set up my brand new skimmer last night and was afraid it would be noisy. After 9 months of a Skilter 400 I was very relieved. The Prizm is very quiet by comparison.

Both Prizm and Skilter 400 are lound
but with a little mod, they are perfect for small tank like 55 Gallons
I have MOD them both very happy with the price and performance
noise are made by air bubbles making direct hit to the champer
make mod so that there is same amout of bubbles enter the champer(to keep your performance at peek) but do not let them direct hit to the wall( less noise)
