my pulsing xenia???

i got a pulsing xenia yesterday,,, i did my normal accilmation,, and after about 2 hours after putting it in it still has not came out,, so today i went to work and my lights dont come on till 12 so i went home at 2 and it still has not came out,, is this normal,, i have a regular xenia and it did not do this... please help.. thanks

i would just keep eyes on it...they are a hit or miss species. Mostly miss when its your first try...they dont stand nitrates at all...Good luck~!

Xenia are good exporters of nitrates.....so evidently they consume it. Its one of the few corals that does. They also like a good higher range of Ph though at least an 8.2 as a minimum.
