My refugium setup

I just finished setting up a refuge on my tank. I have a 90AGA R/R tank with a mega flow 3 and now a 15 gallon acrylic refuge..Here are some pictures.Any suggestions on it are appreciated.. Like what type of micro algea should I put in it, or what else should I put in it. right now I have an algea that is green and kind of bubbly. I got it from my LFS..

its kinda hard for me to tell what is going on there. not sure if the water goes in the wet dry then to the fuge? but i dont see how they are connected. if it were me, i wouldnt use a wet dry with a fuge. do you have reef or fish with lr?

sorry, i forgot to answer your question....i have chaeto in my fuge and a 5" sand bed to also help with nitrates...

I have a semi reef tank I only have a few mushrooms and one frogspawn and one bubble coral. other than that it is fish (5) and LR.. The tank drains into the wet/dry and goes back to the tank with a mag 9.5 and I then feed out of the wet/dry into the fuge with a 300gph power head, which is the clear hose you see in the second picture. The hose was not yet put in the fuge when I took the picture..It then overflows through a 1 inch bulkhead back into my wet/dry.. I just ordered a set of MH lights and should have them on thursday, then I will probably get into coral alot more..

looks nice but looks like a fire hazard. i would zip tie some of that stuff up. if my fience kept our tanks like that i would kill him lol

Yes, cheato all the way. I would get that caleurpa (probably what you have now) out of there once you get some cheato. I have a 4" sand bed, about 10 snails, and bunch of live rock rubble.
