Hey everyone I just set up my Kent RO/DI unit and it told me to take out the resin cartridge from the third chamber and run 10 gallons of final product before I use it in order to soak the membrane. Well I have run the 10 gallons and plan on shutting it off until I get a 40 gallon rubbermade so I can make my salt water. Do I need to empty each chamber of the water that is already in it or can that water be kept in the chambers while not in use or for use when I start up with the real water? Any suggestions will help. Thanks!!
