My rocks are getting fuzzy.

Hello,
So over the last couple of days I've noticed that all my rocks are getting covered with what appears to be a grayish/brownish fuzz. I'm not sure if this is related to the Diamond Goby I got recently whos been kicking up a lot of dust as he sifts though the sand. Any advise that can help me clean up the tank is appreciated.

Sounds like it could be diatoms.

Pictures would help to be exact. How is the flow in the area where its appearing?

Ok now I'm prey sure its just dust kick up from the goby. The stuff was even all over my sleeping urchin lol... so I just brushed the rocks and back glass a bit with my hand and the filter sucked it out...
But now I have a new question... on the back of the glass I could feel tiny white hard specks that don't come off the glass easily. What could these specks be?
