That combination might work if your tank was 200 gallons plus... minus the anemones...
when you say panther, i'm assuming you mean grouper. which gets way too big for a 75. It would work for a couple of months if you get a small one, but they grow fast and it wouldn't be long before youd need a bigger tank.
Same goes for the Volitan lion. If you are going to get a lion, get a dwarf. Tangs need lots of swimming room, so i would avoid those too.
If you go with the trigger (maybe... Get some other opinions from people on this board first), dwarf lion, and sfe, you will have a much more rewarding aggressive tank.
Whatever you do, please leave out the anemones. they have no place in an aggressive tank, IMO they shouldn't be kept in reef tanks either.
Having fewer numbers of smaller fish behaving more naturally, IMO is much better than several huge fish crowded together.
I do feel like a bit of a hipocrite here, I do have a clown trigger in a 90 gallon which i believe is too small... I am planning to upgrade soon though...

i had a panther grouper in a 55 for a year in half. what the hell are you talking about a few months. when i bought him he was about 5 in a half inches the only reson i got rid of him was to get a clown trigger. why dont you think i shouldnt have any anemones. they are owsome. and i really dont think any thing but maybe maybe a trigger might bother them. im not planing on keeping these fish for LIFE. WHO WOULD THATS BOREING.

I think i need to explain my last post a little better... First off... Sorry if i sounded too discouraging. Like many members of this board (most likely yourself included) I really love this hobby... I get a lot out of it and i want everyone else to feel the same... Chosing fish that will be happy in the set up that they are in, will be very rewarding... By chosing the wrong fish you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Some of my favorite fish that i would love to keep just aren't possible for the size tanks i am able to provide right now. I had a 260gallon, and IMO this was too small for some of the fish I wanted to keep in it... (tesselata moray, map puffer) I do plan to keep them when i can afford to give them the proper habitat. Your tank (75 gallon) will be an ideal size for some really cool aggressive fish. Just be careful, do your homework, and you will have a great agressive tank!

I'm sorry, but IMO you should have just lost the right to "care for" any living creature
when you purchase an animal [ie fish], you are trying to create the best environment for it and provide as much as you can so it feels like it's at home in the wild.
you cannot buy a fish, get sick of it and trade it in
Im sorry, its just not right
neither are you

I think the only reason NOT to have the anemones is not so much that they will be bothered by the fish so much as be bothered (killed) by the water quality of an aggressive (and overstocked) tank. It is simply impossible to keep pristine water in a tank like that.
You can put whatever you want in your tank, people are just trying to explain why that may not work to save you from loss of life and money.
Good Luck

well anthem it seems info tends to flucktuate and its very annoying when one person is like yes its ok and another is like no way. so i tend to get pissed. my local fish stores tell me one thing and you guys tell me another. how am i to decide?

you lfs is about making money, these people who posted earlier actually have kept these fish for years and know what they are talking about.
As for the anenomes, they have a dismil survival rate even in reefs where the set up is perfect, you just aren't going to be able to keep them in a aggresive tank where they bioload is big

If you dont like these opinions then go ahead and do what your LFS says, you'll soon see how much money you spend (since, according to you, keeping the fish isn't so important).

anyone want to take dibs on this kids age?? I got my money on 17... I think it was the mispelling of "boering" and "flucktuate".. spelled most of them right but missed the harder ones.. plus he is being a smartA$$ like most teenagers... Not saying anything is wrong with teenagers..Apparently Im mentally inferior to most of them.. ]=) but surfkid its not to hard to tell when someone is younger.. relax bud.. no one wants to hurt you.. hehe.. ~DAniel

You go guys!!!
Especially Drew....I too believe that you keep your animals for life, and provide the best you possibly can for it...no matter fish or cat, or dog...
They are not...throw aways because you get bored...you should know better than to quickly stock, and not to overstock...would YOU want to be sleeping and living in a 1 room place with 7 other people...BIG people...??????
I know its hard in this hobby to have some restraint when you see some really cool fish you'd like, but its not always best for them...and the Anenomes will be killed...the water quality will be too poor for them..they really do need pristine water..and with piggy eaters, you just dont have that....
Sorry its not what you want to hear...and if your mind is made up, what can we say,...but DONT ask if you dont want the truth, or are going to be snippy when you get it..Cig, as all the others was dead nuts on, and you just blasted, because????NOT cool...
Your tank..your money, your fish..but damn, I hope you dont have a wife or kids, you might "trade them in" when you get bored..

Personally village surf, I don't see how you can just trade your fish in. I would need a really good reason to trade it in(like a tank size problem in my stingray's case). I feel really attached to all my fish and especially my brownbanded bamboo shark. I could NEVER trade it in. I'd miss it too much. But maybe I'm just weird.
P.S.- Guys just because someones imature doesn't mean they're a teenager. Im only 16 and I'm not. :)

yeah, sorry Aluminum, but give teenagers more credit than that. We do know how to spell boring...most of us. 17? Come on, most 17 year olds can spell as well as most adults. I don't mean to come off as angry, but just a little opinion for people who stereotype teenagers.
I hope no one takes this the wrong way!
:)

I agree with the stereo typing of teenagers. I know there are alot of them here and alot of them are boys. Yet MOST of the people on the board are mature posters. We'va all seen adults be very immature.
Anyway, I also agree that one of the most frustrating aspects of this hobby are all of the different opinions. How does one figure out just who's right or wrong?? Well my formula is get as many opinions as you possibly can, and then majority rules. Majority in your case is that you plan may not work out. I would take some of the suggestions and try to not neccesarily change, but modify it.
Good Luck

All I can say is you have to think of an opinion as an @$$hole... everyone has one...some are stinkier than others... so don't think everyone is right or wrong, and ESPECIALLY don't think their opinions are attacking you... they are just another way to look at a scenario...so you decide on what you want to believe....
