I just found my eel stuck to the tile counter top next to my tank. I dropped him in the tank and when i did his body seemed to relax but since then i have seen no movement. I am pretty sure he is dead but am wondering how long it normally takes them to start swimmin again? I dont want to take him out if he is not dead. Thanks for reading

Place the eel in a bucket with water movement if you do not think it is dead, do not risk spiking your tank out at this point.
