As promised I have taken pictures of my precious ten gallon. This tank has been through hell and back over the last 2 1/2 years. I have battle hair algae nitrates ect ect and lost a tank full of corals twice with the exception of a couple that made it the full duration.I have been sps bound for about 8 months now and in total this ten gallon holds over 27 different types of corals.I have 8 differnt types of snails and a cucumber.I have natural phytoplankton growing along with a very diverse fauna population.
Enough talking heres the pics.

I am using a sleek coralife 20 inch modded into a 70 watt metal halide with 36 watt true actinic.
Heres a link for the mod with pics of how everything was done.
Edit: link violation
The most recent mod (actinic) is on page 3.

Mike, I don't know what to say other then you've proven that its almost impossible to keep corals in a tank that small...I'm guessing you started this thread to warn people not to make this same mistake.

I didnt get the sps bug until after the tank crashes. There is only one or two "softies" that are left that are actually 2 years old.The sps are no older then 8 months.
I think I have proven it can be done, but gents if you do this you will be fraggin alot once they have taken off well. I have already started fraggin. i dont mind as I get to help fellow reefers out.

Very nice pics...and I wish you all the success in the world....
I bet some info on the modifications you've made would be very interesting...but direct links to your "forums" are a violation of this sites policy and have been edited out. Links to your pics from there are find...and are good quality....appeals to my eye candy addiction...but the site links had to go.

Any reason why you all deprive your members of such great information?

Primarily because the link had access to other sources of on-lines vendors and the owner of this site has established a policy that links of that nature are not allowed...nothing personal.
