My tank is 48" long and my Oak stand has a large center post in the middle that can not be removed easily, I am trying to figure out a way I can get a sump and refugium under the tank that is a fairly good size. I have drawn up a picture and was wondering if you would have a look at it and tell me what you think. It involved two small tanks, one being the sump and the other the refugium both the same water but I can control the flow of water to the refugium. Let me know if you see any problems.
Thanks

Yeah, I don't think they are needed...
If you have adaquate LR in your tank for biological filtration...that's it...you don't need "additional" bioballs...:nope:
