I had a dwarf lionfish, two dominoe damsels, a yellow tang, scooter blenny, spotted mandarin, panther grouper, a pink spotted watchman goby, a general star, and two small sharks. The only plus is that now i started a peaceful tank...haha.

I must have missed something, what happened? :notsure: What size tank is that? Sorry for your loss, they die all at once or was it over a long period?

You had all of those fish in a 40 gal? Are you sure it was the live rock that caused the problem? A panther grouper should be in a 200+ gallon tank. When you restock please be sure to research your fish before you buy.

Ok, i realized how big a grouper can get. Im not an idiot. I bought him as a baby, and planned to trade him when he got about 5". Maybe you should spend your time on here helping, and not talking others down.

why would you buy a fish just to remove it, that fish would overgrow your tank in a month, a panther grouper and 2 sharks.... geez..... i guess i don't see the point

Sign guy, people get upset because that yellow tang alone overstocked that tank. Let alone a yellow tang, panther grouper and two sharks. I hope for the benefit of the doubt they were brackish water sharks he converted or was trying to convert to saltwater. I am not suprised whatsoever that the ammonia killed the, I am sure the stress of being overcroweded contributed to that too.
