My tank beginnings

I'm new to the forums. I've had a saltwater tank before, but not a reef. It's a 30 gal...with live rock and sand so far.

Looks good! I see we have a new black-sand reefkeeper on board....welcome! I love the look of my black sand, but boy, the white schmutz really builds up fast.

It's definitely a style thing. A lot of people don't care for it for one reason or another, but personally I think it looks pretty cool.
