my tank isn't level

i tried searching the forums cause i'm sure someone has asked this before, but it kept giving me a "fatal error", so here's my question. i just set up my tank in a new town, and i didn't grab my level cause i know the stand is level and the building is new. once i got it filled up though i noticed that the water level isn't level. it's about 1/4" lower on the right side of the tank. so, do i need to empty the tank and level it all out, or is that ok?

+1 an unlevel tank is stressed on one side and may start leaking, you want to fix it now before there is fish and rock to deal with.

If all you have is just water in the tank, I would level it up. Personally I never put thought into it and my tanks always ended up leaning slightly and I never had any leaking problems. My problem with my new tank is I have two overflows and being 1/4" off is causing all the water to drain into one.

I have a pipe that runs through the right side of my room that makes my room on a slant, therefor my tank is unleval. I havnt had any problems though.(exept an unlevel filter that i fixed by putting a peice of cloth under the left side of wich fixed the problem. Anyways my tank seems just about as unlevel as yours and i have no problems.
