rest of equipment
2 maxjet 1200's in the tank, wet/dry underneath (i know i know, watch the nitrates) with skimmer being fed by a maxjet 1200, returned with a mag500. the water movement inside the tank is amazing, i have to figure out a way to stop the sand from getting moved all over the place.

nothing set in stone, but i'd really LOVE to get a blue hippo tang. i already have 2 false percs. i know, people will debate till the cows come home if the tank is too small for a blue hippo but i really like them.

Sounds like you have your mind made up already. You have read on here and listened to the debates about the tangs. Make your own decisions and live with them. Although not advised, can be done.

Did you glue the rocks together? The left side of the tank looks a little bit unstable......But it's a good start. Good luck.

actually, the left side was the hardest. it took about an hour to get them very sturdy. i ended up not needing to glue them.

i don't know how to get that clam picture from here to a differnt post to ask something about it, so i'll ask here.
under the clam, there is a ball of white... stuff... that i *though* would have been the tongue or foot of the clam. well, it isnt. it fell out of the LR and onto the bottom of my tank. THEN it disappeared. i have NO clue what it is or where it went. big stretch here, but any help?

actually, to my total surprise, i found an open clam shell completely cleaned out behind my rock in my tank. i'm wondering what the heck is going on, cause it was not there before and i have not added any clams. this ball of white stuff is getting to me, i wish i had grabbed it when i first saw it out of the rock--it's no where to be seen.
