My Tank

I Have a 20 Gallon long Saltwater Tank. I have about 6 common anemones,1 curly-q anemone, a starfish, yellow tailed damsil, and 2 clark clowfish, and a blue gobie. I am now starting to look at corals for my tank. I already have a button polyp, and it is doing awesome. I have had this tank for 5 months and I just had regular tufa rock that you buy at a pet store. Everything was fine. The was alittle green algea from time to time, but nothing too big. I just added 35 lbs. of Vanisi live rock last week. I went away for a weekend. When I retuned My tank was covered on all sides by this brown Algae, I clean that off. And now it is on the bed of my tank and slowly creeping back. I am now wondering what is this and is it bad for my tank. I have never seen anything like it and I am worried it will kill my coral and my inverts. Should I get a cleaning crew in? I ran all tests and all is fine. I have been using the same water source that I was when I started also. Thanks for your help.

agree with krazzy.....sounds like a mini cycle due to the addition of the lr....and the brown stuff sounds like diatoms..........should eventually clear up.......post current water readings........maybe more info will help these folks help ya more
