My Ten Gallon ""update""

Well i ended up getting a skimmer its a prizm deluex i think that it works pretty good only 3 days and allready skimming "lot's of black resude in the collection cup Good Or Bad??"" also had to redo the rock work and got rid of all those terrible live plants iam hoping to post a pic soon. but other wise iam going to get a water test on fri and if all levels are good iam assumeing that my cycle is done ""been 4 weeks"" is so iam planning to add a clown fish and part of my clean up crew
Oh ya i forgot i am getting new lighting 2, 20watt coral life PC's 50/50
Any Comments Suggestions ? :joy:

that black gunk is good news. cause before it was in your water.... water changes help get rid of it but a skimmer does as well, hopefully it doesnt over skim, anyone feel he should have it on a timer so it doesnt pull too much out of the water?

perhaps but why are you so worried about your nitraits ??
if you have only 2 fish in there it and do water changes it should never be a problem

in that size tank you should do about a 2 gallon water change every 2 weeks, this will help your nitrates stay low. in my 20 they are always below 10, i have a medium bioload (2 clowns)
i THINK youll be ok with those lights and those corals.
be careful with the frog span, they sting and get really big. i wanted to get one for my tank but i didnt want to deal with it taking over and getting huge.
i do have shrooms, xenia, and a hammer and all are doing very well and are not hard to keep at all. id wait a little while before putting them in, maybe start with the shrooms, then xenia then hammer/?? dunno

ya iam going to start slow! right now iam just useing 2 10 watters for lights on fri i wil get a small clown fish "if all the water prameters are okay :cheer: "
Then later
i will add those new lights and a few shrooms haha also add a clean up crew
and just keep it going from there

i did a water Change today iam going to post a pic today because i re arranged the rock work because of the skimmer
it kinda murky cuz of the water change
