i bought the tank off some guy yesterday, but ive had all the liverock cycling in my 33 gal for weeks. When i finally brought it home i just transfered the water and rocks along with some live sand and its almost at pristine water quality after the first night. Here are a few pics i took last night before i went to bed. Oh, btw im 16 years old and everything you see here has been self-funded.

i know its still early to put livestock in.. but i figured that since its been cycling for a while before, i might as well put SOME living things in there

You have fish in an uncycled tank???? Not a good idea, doubt they will make it, here's hoping for their sake your tank already has 0 ammonia, and 0 trites, I would do a water change to get the trates down to a reasonable number.

before you flame me.. you have to read.
not only has 33 gallons of this water been cycling for weeks, i saved the remaining water from the guys tank, which was still setup when i bought it. The ammonia and nitrites are at 0 and the nitrates are very low. The two fish that you see in there were in the tank when i bought it, and are in very healthy condition.

I misunderstood then, I thought I read its been cycling for awhile, and that you might as well put some living things in it. I took that as its still cycling, not complete yet. Wouldn't flame you anyway, just trying to help your fishies stay healthy, good luck to you, nice tank

Your tank looks great.... and that is awsome that it is self funded. Just take it slow and read lots. Your tank will be amazing in a matter of time. For now though I would let it establish a bit more before you add anythingm and maybe add a background to hide the cords.
Way to go :cheer: Good start
