My water changing station...

I just did a water change using my new setup. I borrowed this design from someone over at --. It is pretty simple...close one valve and the pump pushes water to the side that runs down to the bottom to mix the saltwater. Close that valve and open the other and the pump pushes the water to the side that runs out of the bin. I have some flex tubing that I will put on when I am ready to pump the new mixed water for a water change....
Anyway, here are the pics....

I like it. Those cans always make me nervous when full especially when you cut them
I have seen it done with the larger blue platic pickle drums. I think 60 gallon or so. Very clean and its like a new toy to show off when your other saltwater friends come by.
Nice job......

I only keep the cans a little over half full.
I can't find a place that sells drums around here.......

I paid 22 bucks a piece for my 55 gallon blue and white platic drums on the bay.
if you look you can find them being used for sterial water for beer making.
I use them to this day making and holding my ro water.
Check it out.
