is this product safe to kill red algae and will it kill good algae?

I just finished using it, don't follow the instructions on the pack. I used it and it's all gone, and didn't harm my corals or fish. I had fixed all of the factors in my tank even went 4 days without lights and some extra flow on the sandbed and it didn't go away just kept getting worse. If u'r still interested in it, I'll tell you how I dose it.
