MYSIS shrimp

OK everyone ??? I know that fresh water fish have no nutritional value for our fish.. OK I have heard about everyone feeding mysis shrimp and I have never used this before. Whent to the doctors today in detroit and have to stop at our fav coral store and seen they have them for sale, ok I baught it. Now I read on the packadge that mysis shrimp our fresh water raised . So if other freshwater food like guppies and gold fish are only good for a treat is everyone only using the mysis for a treat it doesnt sound like it. Can anybody explain this?????????? thanks ..fixit

b ball, zoe is a liquid that contains a lot of minerals that get soaked up by the food. Thhen you feed the food to them (with the zoe in it), it improves your fish immune system, and gives them more minerals. You should buy some at your lfs, at my lfs there around 15 bucks tho.

Hey b-b, ya I have heard the same but the fresh water thing bugs me, I do know the fish like it .I figured I would hear more on this topic but ya never know...cya...fixit :D

Mysis shrimp is abouit 12x's the protein of regular brine. It's recommended for high protein eaters like seahorses and copperband. No problem in feeding it regularly.
