its probably mysid shrimp. not mysis, mysis are freshwater and two toally different species. I have had mysid shrimp living in my sumps before, probably came with some live rock. free food.

Either way, good stuff. I have so many large (~3/8") amphipods in my DT and fuge that I see almost daily amphipod molts swirling in the current. Ever since I had to exile my Sixline back to the store, they have exploded in population.
Munnid isopods look somewhat similar as well. Non-swimmers, but great incidental fish food....

Mysids are tuff to raise because they're VERY cannibalistic (adults nail the nauplii), but are a great food.

FWIW, that's a female Munnid...the males have claws (I don't exactly remember what pix are on the site, but I'm sure Renee does).
