Nano Anenome Tank

So im thinking about setting up a nano anemone tank, either 6 or 12 gallons...i was wondering what you guys would reccomend for this small set up...im kind of new to this...can i get like 2 or 3 anenomes and like 2 clowns? I don't really understand the whole anemone thing...please help...thanks!

two clowns would be fine for a 10g tank. No on the anemones. Maybe a mini carpet, but im really not sure about that, someone else should be able to help you with that one.
If you can get an anemone, you will have to wait for the tank to mature enough(around 6-8 months should be good)
If you get two clowns, there wont really be anything else you can get besides coral, and inverts.
What kind of set up do you have/are getting?

Most anemones need strong lighting, and the ones that clowns host definitely need around a 30 gallon tank and up. The smallest and most docile anemone you could get that clowns could host would be a Bubble tip (E. quadricolor). I say could because there is no guarantee that clownfish will host their anemones. Mine were captive bred and do not touch their anemone, while I have another pair from the same parents and a different clutch who DO host their anemone. As stated before, nems need a tank that's a good six months old and is well ballerina out parameter-wise. =]

ohh okay it all makes sense i guess...anemones move around and such, strong lighting is always important...i just want to get a cool small tank for my apartment at school...at home i have a reef tank...any ideas on what i can do? like a seahorse tank or something???...i just want something different
