nano question

i don't have a nano buyt might be getting one. If i get a 12g nano is it possible to make it a reef? i don't have much knowledge with nanos so i was wondering.:confused:

Totally possible..just decide what you want in there and purchase the correct equipment, just do plenty of research. Your largest expense will be the lighting.

yes i would be planing a nano reef, but would it make a difference if the ank was fan cooled or not.

ok 1 more question do you think 2 24 watt bulbs would work for a reef. (im also new to the reef tanks as well:)

I was reading another thread and the advice given on it was that 48ws would be fine for some of the soft corals that didn't need much light. I personally have a 10g tank with the 98w powerquad over it, but the light system it self was around $90 with shipping and handling, but I already had the whole 10gallon setup, so that didn't cost me any money. Good luck and hopefuly someone with experience with that amount of lighting will respond.
