Nano Questions

At some point I would like to turn my 30 gal freshwater into a saltwater but wanting to do some investigating first.
This tank would be FOWLR and no corals at all. I plan on having a few big pieces of rock but not a tankful of it as I hate the look of live rock but need the right amount for the tank to function properly.
I would like to know some recommended fish for this tank but DO NOT want any gobies or blennies please. I am looking for a nice colorful fish preferably in Yellow with a few peaceful schooling fish for accent.
I want the tank to be moving if you know what i mean, fish swimming.
If anyone has done a tank in the 30 gal size like this please let me know what you have put in there and how well things did.

How about a yellow tang (in before the tang-nazis) and 9 small green chromis?
In a 30 gal....

God help you if anyone else reads your suggestion.
Hey that would be the ultamint perfect tank for me as far as color and fish go but I somehow don't think this would ever be reality....

Hey, don't think I am knocking you down for the suggestion. I know of a lady whom has a Yellow Tang in her 30 gal as the sole fish with inverts for the past 5 years. It has to be the most beautiful tang I have ever seen in a tank, so healthy and just stunning.

I'm fine with people using the term tang police, but I have never seen the term you used. I hope to never see it again.
With that said, my 30 will have a total of 4 fish (don't have them all yet)- two ocellaris clowns, a long fin fairy wrasse, and an orange spotted goby.
So if I had to recommend fish, that's what I would recommend...after all, that's what I'm recommended to myself.
