Well, i have posted these pics before but now i am going to put them in a new tank diary thread. I have a 14g oceanic Bio Cube. I have 10 lbs of live rock and about 10 lbs of live sand. The rock cam loaded with coralline and sponge. For filtration, in the first chamber i took out the carbon and padding from the cartridge, then i cut a poly filter pad to fit inside it. In chamber 2 i have the bio-balls taken out. I took out the trickle tray as well. I have the bio ball strainer in the bottom of the chamber and on top of it i have activated carbon, purigen, and phosguard. In chamber 3 i have a 50 watt heater and a 136 gph pump. The current inhabitants are 1 perc (my other one wasn't eating and i returned him, new one coming this week
), 1 skunk cleaner shrimp, 3 peppermint shrimp, 20 or so nass snails, 1 mexican turbo, and three blue leg hermits. For corals i currently have 1 orange ricordea, one blue ricordea, and a light green zoo rock that has yet to open
. I also plan on doing a big fragging project from my 55 reef tank. If you have any comments or questions, then post them and i would be more than happy to answer.

I am considering getting one of those "Hydor Flo" nozzles. Will they fir on the 1/2 inch loc-line? Is it okay to have one in a 14 gal? I see some people have their it on a powerhead you can see and keep the original loc-line, do i have to get an extra power head?

Havent posted on this thread in a while... Loads of stuff happened. First off sad to say both clowns passed away and my lfs has no idea why but all parameters were and are ok. Second i now i have 4 ricordeas in my cube (stole 2 from my 55). And my orange ricordea now has a second mouth! I am going to try and feed them once a week, and i will try and put pics up tomorrow.

Heres a list: colt coral, purple zoos, orange zoos, green zoos, super orange/green zoos, yellow polyps, hammer coral, and lord hawenis acans!!! I wish i had my camera but my buddy is taking pics with it on his vacation and i will take pics as soon as he gets back. It was so fun!!! I cant wait for everything to open up!!!

Wow... its been a long time since i posted on this thread. My tank has come along great. I finally got 2 clowns that are living fine, my coral frags are phenomenal, and 2 of 3 peppermints are pregnant! I added a little bit more sand to the tank and re designed the aquascaping, though it is still very similar. Camera is out of whack and i will probably manage to get pics up next week.
I was thinking of getting a 3rd fish. Possibly a clown goby, neon goby, or engineer goby. I wanted to know your opinions.
And for those of you that have read about my isopod problem i should be all set. I pulled it off the clown with tweezers (tiny little thing, about the length of a line on a ruler) and i am getting a skunk shrimp this weekend (my other one died a while ago when i was on vacation...
). If you have any thoughts of what i should do to my tank please let me know.

oh, and by the way, i am probably going to be putting in a frogspawn and toadstool leather in the near future. If you have any other coral recommendations please let me know.

Neon Gobies are known to do best in cold water tanks and engineer gobies will make a mess of the water as well as the aquascape as they burrow.
Clown Goby, however =
