nano remora on JBJ 12 ? where does it go?

How does the remora nano skimmer fit on the 12 gallon jbj?
The skimmer arrived and looks pretty big. Can it fit on the back with the lid closed? i should have looked into this topic more before i ordered a tank, are these skimmers useless on a nano cube?

Pretty well the skimmers are useless unless you want to mod your top drastically as well as the inner compartments. Your ahead with the Sanders Picolo skimmer or a small Lee skimmer or the Current Fission skimmer.....Just because somehting says NANO does not mean its geared to what is also referred to as a NANO cube or Aqua POd. NANO is a term for a size range not a product ID. You can have a 10 gal regular old glass tank and its still a NANO tank....where that skimmer would readily fit without any mods. Any chance of taking it back for a refund?
