nano sandbed

Im getting a 28g HQI from another site that has been souped up a bit in the lighting dept. and my question is how thick should my LS be with 30 lbs of Lr?

whats the BEST sand as far as namebrand to order online and how much do i need for a 28g? thanks

i would imagine that a 20lb or 24lb bag of live sand would be more than enough: maybe even too much for that tank.

It really all depends on how deep of a sandbed you want to have. I personally like a deeper sand bed, especially if you are going to have any burrowes like a shrimpgoby. I would go with 30 pounds of LS. I have 12 pounds in an 8 gallon tank
