nano tank

Hello I am new, and i am considering a 12 gallon Nano Cube aquarium kit that comes with lights and filters all in one. Has anyone used one before and would u suggest it. I would like to have two clown fish and some soft corals.

i have one and i think they are pretty good. if u want corals u should probably buy the nano cube dx you'll be much happier with it. but remember if this is going to be your first tank nanos are alot harder to keep up with than bigger tanks.

Thanks, what do u have in yrs fish only or coral and did u change the lights?

It is not necessary to change or upgrade the lights if softies are the only corals you want to keep. I would suggest, however to do ALOT of research before you dive in. Pardon the pun! Nanocubes are a great tank.

i have a banded possum wrasse as my only fish for corals i have a fiji toadstool leather, green star polyps, and a frogspawn. they all do great with the lighting i have especially the leather. but i did have to replace my ballast for the lights because it was bad. and i put a maxijet 900 in instead of the pump the nano cube come with. oh and i wouldn't recomend anymore than 2 fish in a tank that small.

thanks, i will replace the pump today, i set up my tank last thursday 09/22 it has cycled alreadyi will add the clean up crew today. and i did order a diy 24w power compact kit. thanks again
