Nano tanks and skimmers

I have a 12g nano cube and I am putting 14lbs of LR and 18lbs of LS. Does anyone know if I still need a skimmer? If I do is there one that will fit in a Nano cube without being so noticable? I already tried the mini jbj nano skimmer but it was to noticable and made lots of tiny bubbles and would not fit in the 3 stage filtration area. Any information would be very helpful.

i have been contemplating a skimmer for my 29 gal, but if you stay on top of water changes you should not NEED one

i have 1 on my 12 gal because i found a good deal on it, it's personel preferance , if you keep up on your water changes you'll be fine.

do you have a "nano" skimmer, or a bigger one. i am asking because i heard the nano skimmers sucked, but i have been thinking of getting one

yea i have the nano skimmer and I think it already broke and I just put it in 3 days ago.

it's in the 2nd chamber , works very well, here s pic of the skimmer after 1 day

what skimmer do you have and does the lid close all the way with it in there

i took the top off i have the 70 watt MH fixture.
i have the nc12, i picked it up for $80.00 .
