I am thinking of staring a nano tank. I already have a 55g setup and I am in the process of setting up a 200g tank.
I am just curious on what kind of setups that people do with a nano. Such as what kinda filters, heaters, etc. Do I cycle the tank any different then a normal setup. What is the best type of livestock. Any info is greatly appreciacted. Tanks in advance for the replys.

I have a 20g FOWLR with an Eclipse hood. Not the best idea if you want a reef because the lighting is usually insufficient. Also there's no place for a skimmer.
You could probably avoid a full cycle by using sand and rock from one of your other tanks.
For livestock I recommend no more than two small fish for 20g (I have 2 false percs in mine), 1 small fish for 10-12g, and inverts only in anything smaller than 10g.
Lots of members have their tank specs posted in this forum (more on page two). Look for threads with the member's name and tank size. Most have pics too.

There's a bunch of nano's that have been featured recently. You might scan some of those threads, they're pretty detailed.
