I have a nanocube 24g it has been up and running for about a year. Just moved it to a new location a month ago, I have been burning out bulbs like crazy.(1 a week) I was thinking of getting rid of the hood and going with a glass top, just dont know what lights to get. (any help)i want to be able to have a wide range fo coral.
Now i would like to do a Chaeto Mini-Refugium in the middle chamber and a Sapphire Nanoskimmer in the firsh chamber. will this change affect my livestock.

i do 5g waterchange every sat or sunday
Never used a skimmer, save the money and put towards the light. I know it a bit much, but WELL worth it. My fish and corals love it

You do realize that's a problem, right? You might want to make sure there isn't SW penetration into the hood, or any salt creep leaking down the wires and into the ballast.

there are alot of different sites that do buying and selling of used equipment and coral (this one used to do selling and trading between members, but then stopped). I would also check the ---- auctions. There are usually some good deals.
150w will support pretty much anything. I have a 150w 14k sunpod on my tank and I love it. I would like to upgrade to 250 but thats just me being ridiculous lol
Good Luck
Dont buy the sunpod new, its way too expensive and there are always used ones for sale

Its a jbj Nanocub replacement upgrade. I think I like the look of it over just a light on top. Anyone have pics of the sunpod setup I can see. But i want a good setup for coral.
