NanoReef w/o fish...

Is maintaining say a 10 gallon reef without fish easier than with? How much easier? Are inverts more durable when it comes to water conditions?

The corals prefer you no to have fish in a tank that size. Inverts need very good water conditions.

the best thing for you to do with a tank that size is to skip the skimmer and get yourself a aquaclear 200 and use chemi-pure in it. thats the best stuff on the market!! you'll NEVER find me without it!!!

It will certainly be easier. My 10 has nobady in it But you will still have every other problem such a small environment can have. Evaporation, chemistry, temp swings... etc. The key to such a small reef is to have way to much time on your hands!!
