Nasarius snail behavior.

Ok so today when i was feeding my fish the snails came out of the sand as usual. Nothing odd, but then 2 of my nasarius snails were crawling next to each other when one of them pulls out an orange tube and pokes the other one . The other snail seemed agitated and then went the opposite direction. Anyone witness this before?

that orange tube you saw is there mouth. they can extend it.
