NASCAR All-Star Race Fantasy Challenge (open to anyone)

Thought this would be a great idea because since it's only for one race, anybody interested could participate. Including those not in the Nascar Fantasy league.If anyone is unfamiliar with how the All-Star race is run, visit here at Nascar. Basically previous race winners from 2009 and 2010 seasons, previous Nascar Champions and previous All-Star race winners . There is qualify race (the Sprinit Showdown) before the All-Star Race, in which a bunch of people who try and race their way into the main race by getting 1st or 2nd in that race. Lastly there is one driver voted in by the fans.

Top 10 All-Star Fan Vote Drivers
A.J. Allmendinger, Marcos Ambrose, Greg Biffle, Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, Bill Elliott, Carl Edwards, Juan Pablo Montoya, Martin Truex Jr. and Michael Waltrip
NASCAR for whatever reason announced the top 10 drivers in the Fan Vote-In early (there are however 40 drivers you could vote for) Perhaps to get some of the big name drivers in the race that might be on the sidelines

Here's how scoring will work:
Sprint Showdown - Pick 5 Drivers
25 points for picking whoever wins (OR PLACES 2nd in) the Sprint Showdown. 10 points for each driver you pick that finishes in the top 5 in the Sprint Showdown.
Fan Vote-In - Pick 1 Driver
25 points if anyone picks the Fan Vote-In.
All-Star Race - Pick 6 Drivers
25 points for each driver you pick that wins a segment in the All-Star Race. See which drivers are eligible. 10 points for each driver who finishes in the top 5 in the 4th quarter feature. Some of your 6 driver picks may be drivers not yet in the race, like Juan Pablo Montoya or Carl Edwards. However there is no guarantee they will be in the race, so if they don't make it, you will have wasted a pick.

Vote-In:

Note about Brian Vickers, he said he plans on racing, but it's still not 100%, due to his health issues. I will post once I hear more.
I would prefer if everyone PM me their votes so a whole bunch of picks don't influence other peoples picks, but if anyone is having problems with the board free feel to just post them.
You do not have to pick right away, the deadline will be 5pm EST Saturday (22nd). I would appreciate just a "I'm in" so I know about how many we'll have.

How did Earnhardt Jr and Labonte make the main field?!? Why not add Kyle Petty and Dale Jarrett too, one's dad was great and the other used to be good too.

That was just a jab at the Earnhardt fans, and yes I know LaBonte is a past Cup champion.
I'll be in.

Hey, it's not a horrible pick, you just never know......Heck, he has just as much chance as Scott Riggs and Robert Richardson, they have all won the same number of races in the last few years.

I personally think they should rename it... It isn't an allstar race, they let all the riff raff in...

So what was the deal with Kyle Busch that got his panties all in a bind after he took out Kasey Kahne? Hamlin did nothing to him when he went into the wall the first time. I personally don't care for the little hot head, and love it when he gets knocked out of a race.
