Naso Not Eating

I purchased a Naso last Friday on-line and when it arrived I was very pleased. But, the fish will not eat.
I have tried seaweed selects, romane, bochoy
live brine, frozen formula 1 & 2
frozen brine and frozen plankton
The fish swims around while the feeding is going, but will not take the food.
I talked with the on0line company that I purchased the fish from and they stated that if he starves to death they will replace it, but I hate seeing such a beautiful fish just waiting to die. All water numbers checked out fine.

I just went through the same thing. I purchased my Naso on line and at first he did the same thing. Just swam around without eating the food. It only took about three days however for him to start eating. The first thing he would eat was seaweed selects, then eventually, mysis shrimp.
Do you leave the selects on a clip for him? You can leave it in there for 24 hours before replacing it. How did the acclimation go? Mine lasted almost two hours.

Just as one more suggestion, have you tried soaking the food in some Zoe? This seems to really get the attention of the fish. I think your Naso will eventually come around and like Tacks said, keep trying seaweed selects.

You might want to try mysis shrimp, I have never seen a fish turn away from that. Good Luck

My naso is still not eating and I have tried everything I can think of, seaweed slects soaked in Zoe, brine live and frozen, romaine, frozen planlton he just will not eat.
He was a thick fish when he arrived and now you can see his ribs. It is a shame to watch a beautiful fish just fade away.
I am still trying but if he has not eaten by now I do not give him much hope.

Thanks for your concern Tacks. I tried feeding his this morning but no luck. He just sits in the back behind the rocks and floats there. I'll try some live brine tonight. Any other suggestions?
