nass snail acting wierd??

ok so tonight i notice one of my nassarius snails is camping up at the top of my 28g nano. stayed at the rim of tank for a couple hours. then he let go and fell back to the sand upside down and didnt move for like 10 minutes.
i figured he was dead but i scooped him up in my net and saw he was still alive so i put him back in on the sand and now he half buried himself.
what do you make of this?

Eh i had one that did the same thing, he was fine.

nass. snails are wierd...he may have found something to eat near the top of the tank and was eating it...i wouldnt make a big deal of it...
