nassarius snail eggs?

About 2 weeks ago, I noticed 1 of my nassarius snails leaving about a dozen deposits of small white round balls all over the glass in my aquarium. I've been watching, but nothing has happened. Are these eggs or just where the snail defecated?
I didn't want to wipe the glass down if it were eggs. If it's eggs, when will they hatch?

I do believe that would be eggs, mine did the same thing, don't know how long it took to hatch, but it seemed like a pretty good while, but I have a lot of baby snails now, I would just leave them and before you know it there will be snails

Are we talking weeks or months? Did you have to do anything once they hatched to keep them from being eaten?

I really don't remember how long I would say a month or so, I know it seemed like there were eggs on the glass forever, but it could have also been new eggs. they hatched and left a small o-ring shape on the glass were the egg was, then I didn't see hardly any babies for awhile they were up in the rocks, very small, hard to see, but will eventually start to show up, when I changed out tanks there was baby snails everywere, but from egg to small snail takes a while, mine started the eggs over a year ago.

Hope you don't mind another question: Did the color of the egg ever change or was it white the whole time and then suddenly the o-ring appeared?

I did a little research and at least _some_ snails are asexual, so there is still hope for yours.

It was my understanding that it's very rare for these particular snails to successfully spawn young in a home tank. So... congrats!

As an update, I woke to find the o-rings this morning so something definitely happened. How big were the snails when you finally saw them? How much did they grow in a year?

I found even more eggs today! This time they are on the back glass. I also noticed some on my LR. How often do these guys lay eggs?

I have these on my glass too. I seem to notice them as little white dots/circles, after a few days the center gets tannish, then they seem to disappear and all I'm left with is a little white, crusty ring that I scrape off....
Does this mean I have a HUGE snail bloom coming soon??

this is awsome, the more the reef tank community gets this kinda stuff to happen the less the ocean will be pilaged :0)
