Today i was talking to my dad about the fish tank, and i saw a clump of something in my skimmer chamber, where the bubbles are made, not the collection cup. So i took the whole thing apart to see what it was, it looked like a black fish so i was REALLY confused trying to figure out what it was while i was taking the skimmer apart.
Got it out, and it was a golfball sized clump of skimmer gunk...............
DISGUSTING it stunk so bad and was looked horrible. I guess it had gotten built up in the pump. After i got it out my skimmer started working much better, so i guess that crap had been clogging it up for a while.
