i bought 10g of that boxed natural seawater thats supposifly perfect. anyone know the real deal on this stuff? should i still do the whole damsel-cycling system? can i just stick in a clown? if so, what about anems(bta), coral(a brain, some zoo's, others), and inverts(cleaner shrimp, porcelain/anemone crab)?

I assume the water your getting is from the catlina water co. and you are getting it from *****. I've been using it for over a year in my 10 gal and I love it, for a nano you cant beat it.
As for your cycle your tank will still have one even with the real ocean water, however, the real ocean will help to speed up the cycle. I would suggest you cycle with some liverock and a cocktail shrimp. Watch for the ammonia spike, then when ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates are at zero add a clean up crew, wait about a week, and add your first fish. The bta and corals all depend on your lighting, but I suggest waiting at least 3 months before adding any corals

i used that water for the first 6 months or so of my 10 and loved it... made water changes real easy . ... damsel cycling is a joke IMO . i just dont understand why you would throw them in there when you aren't gonna want them after .. i'd just test my water after 4 weeks from putting in LR ... i dont get your question on the bta, corals, adn inverts?

yup, its from *****, and by clean up crew, i know thats hermits, and snails, how mucch of them should i put in? do cleaners shrimp count? its a 10g tank. so let me see, set it up w/ lr, wait 4 weeks, or until all bad stuff is 0, then put in cleaners, and wait a weeek before puttin a fish in, then 3 months for coral, and 6 months for anemones, that sound right?
