Hey everybody.
I've had my purple pseudochromis in quarantine for almost 3 weeks now. For lack of a refractometer, I chose not to mess with hyposalinity, though i did reduce the specific grav to approx 1.020 and have kept it around that level.
Against the advice of the board, I also purchased a medication: QuICK Cure, which I have been adding daily.
After four weeks have elapsed, can I be sure that the ICH is gone? The last time I saw white sprinkles covering my fish was about 1.5 weeks ago. Since then, there have not been any outbreaks, however, I believe there may be a new problem.
The pseudo's fins seem like they have all been gnawed up, and there are these very subtle spots of white discolorations here and there on his body and on his fins.
Any ideas?
