...In spot killing some Aiptasia. I usually inject them with kalkwasser and it works great. I have the injection needles (straight, 45 degree angle and 90 degree angle ). Problem is I have some cave systems that have some huge ones in the back. I kill them often ( way more than I used to ) and they are coming back in force. I think the sorce of multiplying are the ones I can't reach. I have 290 pounds of rock removing them to get to the 5 or 6 I want gone is out of the question. I can almost reach them with a needle but think I need another few inches to get them and inject. Any ideas of what to use ?
P.S. They are large enough to swallow up any peppermint shrimp that may typically eat them !

I know this might be a dumb question but can you get a hold of a longer needle?
I've been searching for longer needles. I've even looked into horse injection syringes. But they are thicker but not longer. I wonder if I take two injection needles and super glue the body of one where it squirts into the body of another doubling the length ? I don't know if thats sturdy enough but if I used putty to strngthen the outside it may be just crazy enough to work. Anyone have anything better ?

Any chance of reaching them with a baster full of boiling salt water? I've been having very good luck with ridding my tank of majanos with that... just boil up water from the tank, and blast the little buggers a couple of times with a baster. Seems to work with my pests.

Thats an excellent idea. I've heard of the boiling water trick before but I've never tryed it. A turkey baster will reach them. I will try this. I'll give feedback after I've tried it. Thankyou.
