Need a idea

I currently have a 55 gallon tank that is using a regular sump. Im trying to get one where i can grow that culpera (sp). My question is what do you use or what can i use for a sump and still be able to stick it under the stand. Dont forget now, the item i use for the sump cannot be more than 9 inches wide. Im all out of ideas so any help would be greatly apprciated.

I use a 20 long under my 55. I use it as my sump and my refugium. If you ad caulpera dont forget to add calcium and magnesium or the caulp. might starve you live rock. Mine did. but no algae problems at all.. what can ya do..
