need a little advice

i'm getting a new stand for my tank in a couple of weeks.
what would be the best way to move the tank to the
new stand. could i remove the live rock and put it in
water i'm going to remove from the tank and than put
it back into the tank with the same water.
? would this start a new cycle.
i have a 65gallon, 8olbs live rock and 60lbs of live sand.
would apreciate any advise. thank you

if you put the LR in a box with wet paper it will be fine for an hour or so...even bu taking out the rock water still is 8.25 lbs per gallon this is 537 lbs plus the tank!! have lots of help and try to drain some water in a large bucket if you can good luck!!

When I moved to a new house i put 1/2 the water in a rubber maid trash can (with wheels) and put the rock in with it with a power head running in it. I left the cc in the bottom with enough water to cover it. then i just put every thing back and kept my eye on the all the readins. nothing ever changed. it was just like doing a big water change.
