Need a new powerhead for my nano

Hey I posted this in the nano section but it doesn't have very much activity so I decided to post it here as well. I have a 14 gallon biocube with a koralia 1 powerhead. It has just the right amount of power, but it is really bulky and sticks out really far from the side of my tank. I was wondering if there are any other powerheads with the same amount of power but much smaller and more compact? Thanks!

Oh wow I looked them up and the smallest one is still like 175. Is that right? That's a ton for such a small powerhead

See if you can find aqueon powerheads. Not many stores carry them, but they are nice. Got one Sunday, and another one today. I am replaying my Korelias, too bulky. Aqueon powerheads are smaller, put pump the same water as do Korelias.

You get what you pay for..... The VorTech's are contollable and they have a battery backup which the others don't (add on feature), flow is alot more adjustable than the others, check the wattage draw and for the amount of water they can move only tunzes compare. Yes the cost is high, but these aren't your generic PH's. You would need the smallest like the MP10. Check ---- you might luck up but worth the investment.

Honestly, for the price, you won't find anything that stands up to a koralia. The other wave-making powerheads are just so expensive.

They dont make nano koralias?
Im sure Ive seen something like that at my LFS displays. around the size of a D cell battery?
I could be way wrong about that though.

Ironically, they are not made for wavemakers.

Again powwrheads like VorTech and Tunze are in a class by themselves.... They are designed for wavemakers. The others aren't.

Well what should we call it? Water isn't directed into a single spot in the aquarium...the water movement provided is alternated.

vortech mp10 is nice. u can control the water flow and such. best of all, it doesnt occupy much space inside the tank like other powerheads.
