I have a Aquatic By design wet dry/ sump system I purchased new and never used. Its setting in my garage maybe a little dusty but is new and unused. It was rated for a 125 gallon tank(that what I bought it for) and has a surface skimmer overflow, counter current protein skimmer,a foam bubble defusing chamber, two open chemical chambers, and a sump area, for bioballs ect. The skimmer overflow that hangs on the aquarium tank back and contains the overflow, surface skimmer, counter current protein skimmer,a foam bubble defusing chamber and two open chemical chambers. The sump unit is your nonmal type sump with a flexable hose that connects the overflow system to the sump. The system came with a submersible pump that can be placed in the sump or by caping off the drain hose connection on the unit containing the surface skimmer overflow, counter current protein skimmer,a foam bubble defusing chamber and two open chemical chambers you can choose to not to use the sump system and put the submersible pump in the back unit for direct return of the skimmed and chemicaled filtered water back into the aquarium for a Berlin non bio sump type system. The sump also has bulk a head fitting connection if you choose to use a external type pump.
I know this type system works wonderfully as I have the same system built into a 180 gallon Aquatics By design Inc. solid Oak cabinet system. I purchased the 125 gallon system to use it on my 125 gallon reef tank but before I had time to change the tank over to the new system I saw the beautiful 180 gallon handcrafted oak cabinet system and had to have it so the 125 gallon "add "on Aquatic By design wet dry/ sump system never got used. I paid $400 for the system plus tax and shipping but will take $275 plus shipping for it
As things work out I am soon going to be moving across the country and the 180 gallon handcrafted oak cabinet system made by Aquatics By design Inc. will soon be for sale too.
